Joanne enjoys travelling abroad and around the UK.   She particularly likes being by the coast, and for the past two years she has gone on holiday to the South Coast of England.   On the South Coast there are so many pretty cities, towns and villages to visit.   There's something about walking along a nice promenade by the sea that she really likes.   A lot of seaside resorts in the UK sell freshly made donuts by the seafront and from time to time she will treat herself to one.   Another thing that is typical to eat in the UK is fish and chips, and Joanne often has this for dinner one evening when she is on holiday.   

In her free time Joanne enjoys going for walks.   All over the UK there are numerous parks, nature reserves and forests where people can walk.   There are also many canals which have a foot path for walkers to walk along.  She tries to go for a walk at least once a week.  Even if it's raining she will often go for a walk as long as she has a nice big umbrella to keep her dry!   In the UK it rains a lot, so she's used to walking now in the rain!  She also enjoys gardening and has a small garden.   Joanne still has a lot to learn about gardening but believes it's always good to learn something new.
